Arts & Ammo is an independent journal of observations, arguments, and occasional provocations concerning politics, culture, liberty, and the assorted follies of modern life.
The title reflects two enduring interests: the achievements of civilization and the freedoms that make civilization possible. Subjects may range from music, literature, and history to public affairs, firearms, food, and whatever else seems worthy of attention—or deserving of a well-aimed broadside.
Arts & Ammo first appeared some years ago and has now returned in a new incarnation. Its purpose remains much the same: to question prevailing orthodoxies, defend things worth preserving, and occasionally find something to laugh about amid the absurdities of contemporary life.
Arts & Ammo makes no claim to impartiality. It does, however, aspire to independent judgment, sound argument, and a healthy appreciation for irony.
